Sunday, February 18th I began something that has opened the floodgates of new energy. Now this little book and a new idea is alive in the Universe.
We speak about the gunas and balancing agents of Nature, especially when learning about the Bhagavad Gita and in Ayurveda. This was a visceral experience of getting out of my own way and allowing creation to flow through. Here is what happened.
You may know I started studying Sanskrit a couple of years ago, intending to learn how to read Devanagari and to learn proper pronunciation of words, since in Sanskrit, this is essential to enlivening its full potential.
Since I began my studies, I have fallen more and more in love with aspects of the language. However, two years in, I hit a crossroads with a steep climb ahead. Beyond beginning to be able to read the script and transliteration, is a vast crevasse of many more years of study before being able to feel confident in translation even simple statements and beyond that to be able to compose anything in the language. I found myself at a precipice, not yet ready to leap.
So, as I pause and reflect and integrate what I have learned, I wanted to really process all that I have learned by beginning to teach some of the basics.
In the background, I started a program in the fall to learn more about publishing and creating books, as a way to share some of my accumulated knowledge about health and well-being, since we mustn't hoard knowledge. As part of this program, they present a 7-day challenge to create, edit, format, and publish, as a way to prove to yourself what is possible.
I deferred and began the steps toward my full-length Book, with the idea that I could revisit the 7 day challenge in the later stages of creating the book. As part of this program, I work with a coach to help keep me on task and advise, so at a certain point, I could no longer put it off.
So Sunday the 18th of February, I Began, without any specific idea of what I would create. Even as a long-time meditator and teacher, I still have some personal hurdles to get over, especially when trying something new!
Accepting the challenge and seeing it through reminded me of how much I enjoy short-term projects, especially since I’ve been working on many long-term projects that are still percolating…
Once I got started, a new energy kicked in, and from brainstorming ideas to putting together something I'm really happy to share with you! Just like that, CREATION ENERGY flowing through and this is out in the world.
