2020
The Year of Clear Vision
In each of us is the whole Universe.
Aham Brahmasmi
Each of us an individual unique sequence, the character of our individuality as a wave, and we are the Ocean; all at the same time. We choose which part to identify with in every moment. Expand your awareness through your twice daily dip through the transcendent field and come out refreshed and reconnected.
That is all we need to do, to offer the best of ourselves into the Collective Consciousness.
Dear Friends,
Guru Purnima is our annual celebration of the lineage of teachers in our Vedic tradition. Thom has invited us all to join in on a virtual global gathering to celebrate this year!
See your invitation below & click through to register.
We normally gather together and enjoy a special puja and offer up our boon for the year, on this most auspicious full moon night; however, this year, we will be trying something new: ) Due to precautions being taken to minimize the spread of Covid-19, we are all adjusting expectations for the greater good of all.
As Vedic Meditators, we are infinitely adaptable, so we can make all these little adjustments, fun & easy!
What is a boon?
A boon is a wish or set intention.
In this context, every year on Guru Purnima, we offer up a boon after Guru Puja. We offer this on paper or with an intention inside. The requirements of this boon is that it must be of benefit to you and through you a benefit to the greater good.
This full moon night is considered the most auspicious night for this and we offer it, then let go of any attachment of specific timing or outcomes. This is a "sacrifice with devotion."
Remember to click through Thom's invitation and register. You will also be invited to register for a free portal to access additional Vedic Knowledge!
Meanwhile, enjoy thinking of your boon
and
I offer you this question to spark some personal inquiry : )
All experience in life is a self-referral phenomenon.
This means you must be what you want to see in the world.
Let's think about LOVE.
If you want to feel love, give love!
Freely, liberally: )
What aspect of Self are you most in love with?
1) Surya (bright, shining warm, splendorous)
2) Maha-Devi - Supreme Feminine
Infinite Organizing Power
Parvati (embodiment of transcendence), Lakshmi (embodiment of affluence & abundance - the Nourisher), Sati (embodiment of devotion), Saraswati (embodiment of wisdom, learning, knowledge, music), Uma (Mother Divine)
3) Shiva (Lord of Destruction Operators/Remover of Irrelevancy)
4) Vishnu (Lord of Maintenance Operators)
5) Vigneshwara - obstacle remover, one of the favorite portrayals is Ganesh (has a head of elephant)
